SMS already supports email access on your iPhone via secure IMAP. Rumors have also been flying about potential ActiveSync support being added to the iPhone. SMS is committed to supporting iPhone access via ActiveSync as soon as (if) it becomes available.
Entering e-Mail account settings directly on iPhone
- If this is the first account you’re setting up on iPhone, tap Mail. Otherwise, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.
- Choose your email account type: Choose Other.
- Enter your account information:
select a server type—IMAP, POP, or Exchange—and enter your account information.
- Your email address : e.g. user@example.simplyms.com
- The email server type : for ZimbraCS accounts choose IMAP or POP, for Exchange accounts choose Exchange
- The Internet host name for your incoming mail server either zimbracs.simplyms.com or exchange.simplyms.com
- Your user name and password for incoming and outgoing servers
- use your full e-Mail address and mailbox password for both incoming and outgoing
- Note: Exchange e-Mail accounts will use IMAP when connecting with an iPhone.
