Now with email hosting from SMS everybody can benefit from getting their email directly to their mobile phone. There are two parts to the system – the email server and of course the mobile phone itself.
SMS support mobile email with its two Enhanced Email Services – Microsoft Exchange and Zimbra Collaboration Suite. However you need to have a mobile capable phone to take advantage of this. The capability needed on the phone is to “sync” the data between the server and the phone. Some phones have this capability built in (such as all Windows Mobile devices). For others this has to be down loaded from our servers. The table below gives information for various phones – it details which ones are mobile email capable and whether software is needed. SMS does not supply mobile phones or provide airtime.
